Period 2: Students (1) completed a vocabulary quiz, (2) learned about gern/lieber/am liebsten, and (3) practiced #2 by completing activities 13-16 on pages 36-37 of Deutsch Aktuell. Homework: German is Fun pp.339-340, read the 2 fables, note new vocabulary, underline any comparative or superlative constructions in them, and answer comprehension questions.



Period 3: Students (1) checked homework, (2) completed and checked German is Fun pages 9-11, and (3) practiced using nouns with indefinite articles in both the nominative and accusative cases. Homework: p.12 German is Fun.

Period 4B: Students (1) checked homework, (2) completed and checked listening comprehension activity p.47-B, (3) learned about object pronouns, (4) completed 205:1,2 orally, and (5) started 205:3. For homework: students must study pp.204-5 and class notes, and complete workbook activity 1 p.155 amd 205:3 in their text.

Period 2: Students (1) checked homeowork, and (2) completed and checked activities pp.334-338 in German is Fun. Homework: study for a test on the adjectives in 336-H and 337-I.

Period 3: Students (1) checked homework, (2) completed p.8 section 6, and (3) practiced responding to questions. Homework: read dialogue p.8 again and answer the comprehension questions that follow.

Period 4A: Students (1) completed and checked German is Fun p.1 through p.9, and (2) took a quiz antonmyn pairs. Homework: German is Fun p.9 section 7 though and including p.12 Persönliche Fragen.

Period 2: Students (1) completed German is Fun pages 327-333, and (2) practiced using comparatives and superlatives to describe a poster. Homework: GIF 334-E.



Period 3: Students (1) completed a quiz on modals, (2) received German is Fun books, (3) completed and checked GIF pages 3-6, and (4) practiced using the expression "es gibt" to take inventory of the contents of the room. Homework: GIF 7:5.



Period 4B: Students (1) checked homework, (2) completed and checked writing activities 151-3:1, 2, 3, 5, (3) completed listening activities 44-C, 45-D, 46-F and 46-G, (4) students completed a quiz on lesson 13 vocabulary, and (5) students completed and checked activty 4 page 152 of their workbook. Homework: read 202-3 in Discovering French workbook and answer comprehension questions p.203 in complete sentences.

Period 2: Students (1) completed a quiz on vocabulary relating to the airport, (2) learned about comparative and superlative forms in German pp.31-32, and (3) completed and checked 33:10. Homework: complete "Monitor" worksheet.

Period 3: Students (1) completed a quiz on verbs with stem-vowel changes, (2) reviewed formation and usage of modal verbs, and (3) orally completed some question/answer drills with modals. Homework: study modals for a quiz.

Period 4A: Students (1) shared potential vocabulary words and sentences, (2) finished reading aloud from reading packet, (3) practiced antonym pairs with vocabulary from readings, (4) answered questions to the readings using new vocabulary, (5) learned new vocabulary relating to free time, and (6) orally completed question/answer drills to practicen new vocabulary. Homework: read over "In der Freizeit" and be sure to note new vocabulary. Study antonymn pairs from the readings for a quiz.
