Period 3: Students (1) handed in their homework 78 G, (2) completed 78 G orally using reverse translation, (3) completed an oral subject replacement drill with einladen, (4) reviewed verbs with inseparable prefixes besuchen, gefallen, and vergessen, and (5) completed two oral activities with gefallen and vergessen. Homework: 79 #5 - 82 H.

Period 4A: Students (1) completed a test on Lektion 5, (2) practiced asking indirect questions, (3) checked classwork from 10/30, (4) watched video 6, noting new vocabulary, (5) discussed vocabulary to video 6, (6) watched video 6 without subtitles, (7) completed and checked questions to video 6, and (8) practiced posing indirect questions. Homework: study for a quiz on indirect questions and 97-C.

Period 3: Students (1) reviewed verbs with separable prefixes, their English equivalents, and their use, (2) completed a quiz on verbs with separable prefixes, (3) completed and checked activities D and E in chapter 5 of German is Fun, and (4) completed an oral activity to practice verbs with separable prefixes based on activity E. Homework: p.78-G with English equivalents on note book paper.

Period 4B: Students (1) completed a test on Unit 5, (2) read 234-239, and (3) completed pp.53-55 - actvities B-E. Homework: complete activities 1-4 in the workbook pages 167 - 170.

Period 2: Students took a test on chapter 2. Homework: study vocabulary pp.177-8 in German is Fun 2, and read and complete all activities pp.163-165.


Period 3: Students (1) checked homework, (2) practiced affirming or correcting statements they heard about Julia's party, and (3) completed activity 75 C and translated sentences based on this activity. Homework: study verbs with separable prefixes for a quiz p.89 and p.76.


Period 4A: Students (1) checked homework, noting the meanings of the prefixed verbs p.97 C, (2) prepared and presented a role play situation from p.99, (3) practiced using prefixed verbs by translating 10 sentences, (4) viewed video 5 with subtitles and noted new vocabulary, and (5) received written questions to the video and watched the video without subtitles to find the answers to the questions. Homework: study for a test on German is Fun, Lesson 5.

Period 4B: Students (1) checked homework, (2) took pronounciation test, (3) completed and checked a worksheet on pronouns, (4) completed a checked a worksheet to practice (re)connaƮtre, (5) completed and checked 44-5 G, 250-O, and 257-K in French 2 Yrs. Homework: study for at test on unit 4.
