Period 2: After getting new assigned seats, students (1) checked homework, and (2) individually checked their grade. Homework: complete both activities on the worksheet that was distributed in class today.

Period 3: After getting new assigned seats, students (1) checked homework, (2) reviewed sports vocabulary p.305, (3) reviewed the present tense conjugations of the verbs basteln, wandern, fahren, and laufen, and (4) orally completed 306:5. Students also individually checked their grades. Homework: complete activities 5 and 6 pages 148-9 of the workbook. Study for a quiz on the verbs in #3.

Period4B: After getting new assigned seats, students (1) checked homework, (2) reviewed the conjugations of fahren, laufen, basteln, and wandern, (3) individually checked scores, (4) completed an in-class writing, (5) completed an information gap activity on sports, (6) completed and checked WB156:16, and (7) talked about weekend plans. Homework: students should read about Fußball pp.319-20 and complete the activity on page 321.

Period 2: Students (1) wrote about the role of fruits and vegetables in their lives, (2) took a quiz on fruits and vegetables, (3) reviewed der-words and added solch- , (4) orally completed activities 18-21 page 162-3, and (5) completed and checked 164:22. For homework, students must complete activities 11, 12, and 14 in chapter 5.

Period 3: Students (1) handed in homework that was assigned on 1-29, (2) worked with partner on an information-gap activity to practice body parts, and (3) took a quiz on body parts. Homework: read 301-3, and complete the two activities on page 304 of the workbook.

Period 4B: Students (1) completed either activity A or B on page 202 of their workbook, (2) reviewed the names for clothing articles, their colors, and patterns, (3) orally completed 350:8, (4) completed workbook activities F and G page 76 and textbook activities 10 and 11 on page 352, and (5) completed a quiz lesson 25. Homework: Read pp.366-9 in French 2 Years WB, complete 366-9:A-C.

Periods 2 and 3: academic acceleration.

Period 4A: Students (1) worked with a partner to practice conversations about what people do with certain body parts, (2) took a quiz on body parts, (3) checked homework, and (4) completed and checked 316:15 and workbook 151:10. After lunch, students had academic acceleration. Homework: read "Sport für alle" pp.301-3, complete both activities on page 304.

Period 2: Students (1) reviewed vocabulary relating to a menu, and (2) completed and checked workbook activities 80-1:5, 96-7:6. Homework: students should study for a quiz on fruits and vegetables depicted in activity6 pp.96-7 of their workbook.

Period 3: Students (1) completed a quiz on dative case, (2) learned the parts of the body, (3) completed and checked 312:10, and (4) completed a dictation on parts of the body and practiced writing the plurals. Homework: study for a quiz on the parts of the body.

Period 4B: Students (1) completed and checked a crossword puzzle to review clothes and accessories, (2) checked homework, (3) completed and checked activities D and E of workbook page 75, (4) watched the video to Unité 7, and (5) completed an activity and word search to practice metals and fabrics. Homework: study for quiz on Unit 7 vocabulary.

Period 2: Students (1) listened to a recording of the Lesestück, (2) checked homework, (3) orally completed 167:23, (4) completed and checked workbook 86-7:13, and (5) learned items on a menu. Homework: pick 15 new words from today's vocabulary to memorize using the 5-column activity.

Period 3: Students (1) completed two worksheets to review the dative case, and (2) completed oral activities to review the dative case from chapter 10 :7,8,11,12,17,18. Homework: compose ten original sentences with prepositional phrases from today's worksheet.

Period 4A: Students (1) completed activities 7,8,11,12,17,18 from Chapter 10, (2) took a quiz on the dative case, (3) learned parts of the body (Ergänzung 311), (4) complted 312:10 and WB150:8 to practice this vocabulary, (5) reviewed vocabulary relating to sports (p.305), (6) completed 306:5 and WB148:5 for practice of #5, and (7) read the Lesestück page 315. For homework: students must study for a quiz on parts of the body, read 315, and complete activity 16 page 316.
